Life at Tyndale

Life at Tyndale

classroomWelcome to a community of faith where you will be challenged, mentored and formed by both your professors and your peers. Particularly significant to the Tyndale experience is the vibrant diversity in denominational backgrounds and perspectives you'll find here. What unites the Tyndale community in all this rich diversity is a common striving to know Christ better, to serve Him more faithfully and to share His good news with the world. We want to model what it means to live, study and work together as the body of Christ.

Chapels are a significant part of the life of a student at Tyndale Seminary. Every Tuesday morning, students, faculty and staff from the seminary and the university gather together for praise, prayer and worship. With more than 40 denominations represented at Tyndale, chapels are often a time to experience worship from the perspective of a Christian tradition other than your own.

The seminary lounge is a popular place for students and faculty to gather together and chat between classes. These discussions outside the classroom can be just as valuable as the lectures inside. And with the majority of our faculty actively engaged in ministry, the practical application of what you are learning is always at the forefront of your educational experience.

Our location in the city of Toronto provides a multitude of opportunities for recreation, relaxation and adventure. Toronto is home to numerous professional sports teams, excellent live theatre and many cultural festivals. The fact that Toronto is one of the most diverse and multi-cultural cities in the world means that you will have the chance to minister in whatever context you feel called to.

We invite you to visit our campus to fully experience the Tyndale Seminary community. We look forward to seeing you soon!
