Commuters
Tyndale offers a variety of services for commuter students (as well as residents) in order to make your experience at Tyndale an enjoyable one.
Katimavik Lounge
Deriving its name from the Inuktitut word meaning "meeting place", The Katimavik Lounge is exactly that. Serving both commuters and residents, it is the hub of activity for students looking to enjoy the fellowship of their peers.
Newly renovated, The Katimavik Lounge is equipped with a pool table, Ping-Pong table, and Foosball. A wide screen television allows us to display institutional announcements, live broadcasts of chapel services, and special events on satellite TV. With tall counters, work tables, and sofas, students can relax or study in comfort. A kitchenette provides space for a refrigerator, microwave, sink, and cabinets for food storage and meal preparation.
Seminary Student Lounge
The Seminary Student Lounge is another great place for students to congregate and enjoy fellowship. Renovated just last summer, it offers comfortable sofas, a wide screen television for announcements, and an adjacent kitchenette for meal preparation.
The Seminary Student Lounge is where you will find events hosted by The Seminary Student Council on a regular basis. With a great view of the courtyard, it is a wonderful place to relax.
Computer Lab
The Computer Lab features Sun Ray, thin client computer systems -- check your email, surf the web, or work on those last minute papers. Residents and commuters alike make good use of these enjoyable facilities.
