Mentors
Tyndale's Bachelor of Education program mentors their teacher candidates.
Tyndale’s Faculty are exceptional, caring, lifelong learners with rich backgrounds in public education and current in the subject matters they teach. They employ research based interactive classroom practices and employ these with the Teacher Candidates. They know that teachers integrate a special blend of instructional “ingredients” from the diverse array of materials and strategies in response to a variety of learners as they develop their own unique teaching styles. The Faculty and the Teacher Candidates work collaboratively to create powerful learning experiences.
In addition, Tyndale’s Faculty Advisors extend Tyndale’s learning community to school classrooms. They coach and mentor Teacher Candidates in their practicum placements. They go out to the schools to meet with the Principals and Associate Teachers to make sure that the best possible experience is had by everyone.
