We Have Arrived!
Posted by: Team Japan on Monday May 14, 2012 | filed under General
We've made it to the OMF guest house! It's Tuesday May 15 8:30am here now. Yesterday was our travel day: by plane, train and... lots of walking! From the airport, we took the subway to Ichikawa where the OMF guest house is located. After we wrapped up for the very long day, we hit the sheets for a good rest. As we write this, we're all just finishing up breakfast, about to do devotions!

We invited all the kids from the community and sang songs, played games, and learned about Jesus. it was great and the kids loved it! I was amazed at how much they enjoyed playing "What time is it Mr. Wolf?" at one point Max was Mr.

Answering the Call: Jeff Baker

I guess the first time I felt called to Japan was almost 10 years ago. I was sitting in a Missions conference. The speaker was on home assignment from Africa I think. I suddenly thought "I think God wants me to go to Japan" but I quickly pushed the thought out of my mind, thinking "nah, what would I do in Japan?" Everything happens in Gods timing. A few months later I picked up the guitar for the first time. Who knew that God was planning for me to practice and practice so that I could come worship with the Japanese Christians. a

Greetings all!
I'm sorry that I haven't posted recently, but it's been a crazy week. We finished our training in Ichikawa and are now in Itayanagi in the Aomori prefecture. But I'm getting ahead of myself, let me tell you how we got from there to here.
